PROs and CMOs often have limited reach outside their region or rely on reciprocal agreements with other societies, whereas Songtrust has relationships in place with over 60 collection societies worldwide.

No, your songs are not automatically registered with our entire global royalty collection network. Songtrust registers your songs only with the collection societies where they are actively earning royalties. Once your songs begin to generate streaming or royalty activity in specific territories, we initiate the registration process with the relevant collection societies in those regions. This targeted approach ensures your songs are registered where they are earning, optimizing royalty collection while avoiding unnecessary registrations.

Using our comprehensive royalty reports, Songtrust clients have the ability to view and filter where, when, and from what pay sources around the world their publishing royalties are being generated from. No, Songtrust is unable to restrict its collection efforts to particular countries, territories, or pay sources. Prior to adding your songs to a Songtrust account, ensure that any existing agreements you may have do not conflict with Songtrust's global music publishing collection.
