License Fee

The fee associated with a license agreement. Depending on the nature of this agreement, the fee can be a one-time upfront payment, an ongoing usage fee, and/or a percentage of the revenue the licensee earns from the licensed work. For example, a streaming service pays a percentage of their revenue to the publishers who control the works they license.
