4:00 - What Will The Collecting Society of 2030 Look Like?
This panel will explore the future of rights organizations – how they operate, what they are doing to bring in more money and revenue for the publishers, rightsholders, songwriters and the industry at large, etc. We'll also discuss how they are innovating around the speediness of payments, transparency, and possibly competing (and working with) newer revenue collecting companies. Molly Neuman will moderate the panel and will be joined by panelists: Eric Baptiste - CEO (SOCAN), Ben Kihnel - Strategic Director (AdRev), Mary Megan Peer - Deputy CEO (peermusic) and Kelli Turner - President & COO (SESAC).
